We have to confess, Berlin producer JATA's first two tracks 'Drowning In Your Arms' and 'The Curse' have passed us by somehow. We're kicking ourselves, don't worry, but we're doing it while relishing his superb new single, 'Startime'. What's not to love about JATA? His production combines hypnotic, druggy synth spirals with sparkling, clean-as-a-whistle beats, all topped by his own slick and soulful vocals. He's dropping a full EP, The Bells, in just a few short weeks (July 6th), but that's sure to be just the start for Germany's newest electro smoothie. - DC
